King Charles urged to ‘grow a backbone’ over Meghan – ‘It’s time to stop’

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have often found themselves the subject of mockery in recent years, and now Meghan’s former friend, Lizzie Cundy, has shared her perspective.

According to sources, Meghan is set to release a memoir, and Lizzie, the Duchess’s former friend, believes King Charles should intervene to prevent further controversy.

The couple’s decision to step away from the royal family in 2020 led to their move to the United States, where they now reside in their $15 million LA mansion. They’ve since conducted a revealing interview with Oprah Winfrey and produced a Netflix documentary. Furthermore, Harry has revealed much in his memoir “Spare,” and sources suggest Meghan plans to do the same.

Lizzie, who was friends with Meghan in 2013, expressed her belief that the release of Meghan’s highly anticipated memoir would continue to make the couple a “laughing stock.”

“In light of the recent cartoons and satirical portrayals of Meghan and Harry, King Charles needs to step in and prevent the publication of her memoir. It’s enough of their complaints and criticism; they’ve turned it into a career,” Lizzie stated.

Most recently, the couple has been lampooned in “Family Guy” and satirized in “South Park” since departing from the royal family. Lizzie emphasized that it’s time for this to stop, and she believes Meghan’s aspirations for a career in politics are at risk due to their constant grievances, which have made them the target of mockery, both in the UK and the United States.

Lizzie also mentioned that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were reportedly snubbed by former A-list friends George and Amal Clooney and weren’t invited to their annual gala.

Addressing her former friends through the publication, Lizzie urged Meghan to “put the pen down,” stating that the Royal Family and the British public have had enough.

“King Charles, grow a backbone and tell her directly,” Lizzie concluded.

Meghan isn’t the only one rumored to be working on a memoir. Kate Middleton’s uncle, Gary Goldsmith, is reportedly finishing a memoir that may reveal “new secrets” about the couple. He aims to “set the record straight” and provide a voice for the Middleton family following accusations made against his niece and Prince William in Prince Harry’s memoir “Spare.”
